On July 20, 2024, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel General of Militia Rahimzoda Ramazon Hamro, during an official visit to the Rasht district and a group of districts, met with the intelligentsia, residents of jamoats, personnel of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Rasht group of districts, employees of the Special Purpose Militia Detachment and the Alpha group of the State Committee for National Security of the Republic of Tajikistan.
During the conversation, the Minister of Internal Affairs Rahimzoda R.Kh. shared his thoughts on the meeting of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the respected Emomali Rahmon with public activists, intellectuals, scientists and religious figures of the country, also stressed that it is necessary to intensify work in the fight against crime, terrorism, extremism, preventing the involvement of citizens in extremist parties and movements, illegal religious education, fortune telling, witchcraft, all types of threats and dangers of our time, and not to lose political vigilance.
At the end of the meeting, representatives of the intelligentsia and the public expressed their readiness for fruitful cooperation, noting that they will direct all their efforts to play a worthy role in solving various problems of society.
